My history of Super Mario in 4 minutes

If you are interested in what has kept me from posting recently, please view my history of Super Mario in 4 minutes or read the text version. Both the video and online text are in German, but the amazing work of our graphics department is worth checking it out even if you do not speak it.

On a personal note, please stick by this blog. I am preparing a very comprehensive study of one of the so-called indie development studios that have been rumoured to be developing for Wii. Will we ever play their games on a Nintendo system? I have compiled weeks of research and hope to be able to answer that question. The post will be up soon. Please stay tuned.

It is not Nirbis Fal is talking about I believe. Those guys are pretty much dreamers (art and movie makers), at least so far.

Will be someone else, Fal pretty much debunked these guys already.

Time to check out SMG in 4 mins.

I love how you have to dup even the english guy... no one ever heard of subtitles?

I know this is the norm in a lot of bigger european coutries (to dub everything), but I will never get used to watching TV in other than English, I'm from Sweden BTW.

@anonymous:

You think it is weird to dub a foreign language into your native tongue? Well, both American and British TV do it all the time. It's no different.

Can't wait!

@ greg

yes, it is very weird, for me at least, because in Scandinavia the only shows which are "dubbed" are for children, as they can't understand English yet and can't read subtitles.

I've been to quite a few other countries, and I can't stand to watch TV while there, mostly because I can't understand a single thing. If you'd watch TV in Scandinavia it would always be in the original language, we just use subtitles on everything (even though I never read them, as you always loose a lot in translation)
