Nice try, but now there are only dev kits up and running so far. It will be still half a year at least until they build an actual console that runs the games. If there already are actual Xbox 360 consoles that run software, they haven´t been around for long. So, quickest fake ever proven to be fake. Good effort, but only technically speaking.

How convenient that there is a picture of a playable REV but mysteriously no controller with which to photograph.
Yeah, good point. I guess, anyway. What do you mean by "controller with which to photograph"???
that extra word snuck in there without me seeing it. Thinking one thing and typing another I guess.
It is a printed picture wrapped around a box. How lame!
the tv part of the photo is probably real. that image really is on the tv. however, the photoshop part comes in where we see the actual rev unit. Still, it is a pretty good job techinically spaeking.
Hi everyone. Hi Chocula. Serious, the first actual consoles running software are half a year away or so. There are none now, not even prototypes. There´s only dev kits. That´s all. It´s 100% fake.
The LED on the Revolution looks too dull to be real anyway.
Did anyone notice what looks to be a phone sitting on top of the Revolution box? It's possible, that this is just an empty console sitting on someone's desk, and not mario 128 actually running on it.
countchocula- Some good points. But some of those shading and lighting effects are too realistic to be photoshopped, but seeing how I'm not adept in that area, I can't necessarily say it wasn't photoshopped. But there does seem to be something sitting on top of the console. Look also at the tv. It's looks to be sitting in a corner, possibly at a large desk. And where would that photo of Mario come from? didn't Miyamoto say they had a few groups running a bunch of different tests for Mario 128? That is could as very well been another sunshine as well, but I doubt that the water in the picture signifies another sunshine title. Also, Mario clearly looks like the character model from a GCN game, not a next generation title. but seeing how Miyamoto also said that moving titles from a GCN hardward to revolution hardware would be achieved easily, and since the mario team is running various tests, they might be doing it still on GCN hardware, one because that's what they've been working with probably for a while, and two, obviously, they're more familiar with the GCN's structure. So I'm definitely not counting this picture out just yet. Not unless someone can trace the picture back from a source.
blue LED is too dark... definately fake, they might have taken a picture of a black box and put some details with photoshop ;-) so the light effects looks real, because they are real ;)
Why are u guys getting so into this picture?
Is it not enough that Revolutions do not exist yet?
It's kind of real fakafekid... on the blog where it supposedly originated from...http://theblogs.net/user/kingdea/
but i can't find it on that page...
he mentioned a trackball replacing the c-stick on july 7th... and a couple days later...ign reports iwata talking about less sticks
plus his claims are sort of depressing...not something a hype-man would do...
like revolution being similar to gamecube in layout...and it being not totally revolutionary
and graphics on par with 360
Hey DlphnMod. Sort of. Went to visit my little niece, was her fourth birthday. Am back - and will post something new soon. Providing there is something new out there. I have been checking some forums from my mobile and I didn´t find anything worth posting. Well, I haven´t checked my mails yet. There may be still hope... ;P
