Mii-specific friend code rumour fake

The Wii´s online service will not use Mii-specific friend codes across various games. Justin Dowdeswell, producer of ´Mario Strikers Charged´, has been either mistranslated by news sites The Platformers and Joystiq or misquoted by French gaming site Gamers.fr.

I just spoke to Justin Dowdeswell on the phone and he clarified that his comments about Mii-specific codes related only to his game. He said that he never intended to comment on any other titles, nor would he know about how they implemented online features.

The Wii´s online service will be based on game-specific codes, as I exclusively revealed in mid-March.

Well darn. Oh well, it was nice to feel like a hyped-up-the-kerplunked Nintendo Fanboi again. All this Wii Success feels unnatural, so this disappointment ws warm and familiar.

This is fake. Has no real source. You really think he got a "phone number" to call this guy? LOLZ

Since he is in the video game media there is quite a good chance. Do your research first before commenting.

Hi Anonymous.

Haha. I love you people. You´re on the internet - the best information resource mankind has ever had - and you rule it unlikely to get a phone number for a developer.

Going to the company´s website and clicking on the contact tab isn´t exactly rocket science, you fool.

By the way: Thanks, Grandmaster.

Making up so many bullshit rumours and getting one of them right some of the time isn't rocket science either.

How is Star Wars Wii coming along? Is it going to show at this E3? Because I was at last years E3 and it sure as hell wasn't there.

And this producer took time to explain this to you why?

How about some hard proof like a quote or something that you can be held acountable with?

I can say that I spoke with Kutaragi yesterday, but that doesn't make it true.

If you want hard proof, go to Joystiq. They cite a very reliable source. And they double-checked it.

Making up so many bullshit rumours and getting one of them right some of the time isn't rocket science either.

Name one ´bullshit rumour´ that I posted here. You won´t find any. Instead, you will find a ton of exclusive news that I broke.

Just for starters, I revealed that Wii would be significantly less powerful than the competition. I revealed that ´Zelda: Twilight Princess´ would use Wiimote functionality, rather than being merely a Gamecube game playable on Wii.

I was also the first person to interview Pablo Belmonte, creator of the ´Nintendo On´ video. And I brought you the first developer comments regarding the Wii - by Peter Molyneux and Yuji Naka, no less.

I also ousted numerous fakers (like Seriousgamer007) and I recently revealed that the Wii´s friend codes will be game-specific.

My blog was linked to by many major internet news sources - from Newsweek to multiple mentions on Joystiq - and even got cited in print magazines.

That´s just a small selection of the exclusive news I have been able to post over the last two years. I can honestly say without any arrogance: That was not a bad inning so far. So much for your ´bullshit rumours´, pal.

I dont know why you need to explain yourself, but anyway.

Anonymous, you could say that he banked on a thing that most likely would come true (Star Wars) but it also wasnt a certaintity. He mentioned this well before the Wii was released and by memory wasnt in the hugely positive press at the time where the PS3 was.

You could say he took a chance on it if he really knew nothing but I honestly dont think he would do that myself, even more so considering the circumstances at the time.

@ falafelkid. No sources but a few days ago a different site reported the same thing: http://www.destructoid.com/mgs4-is-coming-to-the-xbox-360--31775.phtml

It's just inevitable at this point isnt it?

FALAFEL you don't sprout bullshit.
You bring news and rumors that I love to read.
If you were glaringly wrong maybe I wouldnt come here.
But you raise interesting points all the time and it's making someone jealous.
Somebody here is too pussy to post their real name when dissing your hard work.
And they have no valid points. It's sad.
They should go find a girlfriend or read a book.
How about pointing out how FALAFEL is a fake with some examples? Or some FAKE stuff that he's posted?
Seriously.

hi falafelkid!!

Runes of Magic is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role playing Game without monthly costs all kinds of Rom Gold and free to download. The premise is that you have played this game and understand the necessary Runes of Magic Gold in the Runes of Magic game. Perhaps the first monster I saw taken down in the demo can gain those varieties of Runes of Magic money. Characters choose one class; the important one is that we have to buy Rom Gold first. You can switch freely between the two classes, but you can only use primary abilities from your primary class, along with cheap Runes of Magic Gold, secondary abilities from your secondary class.
