why does it seem that everybody is taking this view on Wii that the unconventional aspects of the system will almost always be OPTIONAL?
if your studio doesnt want to design the game to work with the revomote, USE THE FUCKING SHELL. if you dont want play your games in stereo3d, TURN IT OFF. jesus christ. nintendo has said over and over that they want to become accessible to the mainstream, and the way to do that is through OPTIONS.
if there is no stereo3d, oh well. i'm not setting myself up for the disappointment of a lifetime, i just think it's a neat idea and have always had the gut feeling that it's the direction nintendo might be going this time - to sidestep "HD" and try to shoot past it. "HD" is fucking useless, to me, if i can view games in widescreen 480p that pop right out at me, and surround me, and immerse me, with some slick little grey "sunglasses". /rant
