A ´Star Wars´ game for Wii featuring light saber action is in development, French news agency Agence France Press reports via Yahoo News.
The head of the LucasArts, the game division for "Star Wars" series creator George Lucas, told AFP a Wii game that lets players wield virtual light sabers is on the horizon.
This confirms my exclusive story that this game was in development, which I posted just over a year ago.

On a more personal note, I would just like to add that I have been playing a lot of ´Mario Strikers Charged´, which is the main reason I have not updated this site for a few days. The game looks absolutely stunning and plays great. The online matchmaking also works a treat. Another must-have title for Wii.

I very much believe so. Remember that I was told about this game just over a year ago. So it must have been in development for even longer than that.
My guess is that it could even be released this year. We will certainly get the official announcement and see a trailer within the next two months, I am sure.
Yeh hopefully it will be a good game.

A little story...
I went into a HMV store in london and heard this noise, when I went and saw what it was I was appalled.
It was a PS3 kiosk running some NBA game demo.
The graphics to be perfectly honest looked like SHIT.(HD my ass!)
Simply PS2 with a shinier floor, more polygons on everything(including players) and that was all the improvement. The crowd models looked like PS2 and the jaggies were awefull and plentiful. the screen was spewing CRAP at me!!!) My goodness I never saw so many jaggies in a game in my life!!! Not even in an N64 game I saw so many jaggies honestly!!!
This is suppsoe to be next-gen???
This was all running on an HD TV. It was a Sony TV too(what else eh?)
Let me tell all you graphics wh*res off right now.
Fact: The PS3 with cel processor and all that jazz is providing graphics detail that ANY CURRENT high end pc and high end graphics card can match and SURPASS!(one to two years frok now Xbox360/PS3 will be nothing--in fact did you see ATI's latest card? ha! PS3 what?), so why the **** don't you go and spend some real money (since you seem to have it to waste buying a $600 "games" console) and buy a TRUE multimedia hub/device called the PC!!!
It can do everything the PS3/360 do and do it way better. The only difference is one stupid controller pad.
The eyetoy and can be easily done on a PC using webcam technology too.
So that's the excuse for PS3? w/e.
Xbox360 pretty much the same damn thing. A PC in a box that gets outdated while the PC gets constantly ahead of it from updates. w/e.
The only true GAMES CONSOLE out there right now is Wii.
It certainly doesn't care about updating. It don't care about HD either so if your dissapointed GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! It has its shelflife its not trying to be the PC!!!. We already have one! It has SOME extra features that seem so. But lets be honest its at heart a GAME BOX!!!
You want HD and high specs stick with your PC gaming.
You want a different immersive expirience(new control) without having to worry about installing software, boot up times loading and all that techno babble get a GAMES CONSOLE: Wii.
I have had it up to ----- with graphics whores.

Yes they are nice when they are nice. I like any other gamer get pissed when they don't even use a mchines power(you havn't even seen Wiis power yet), BUT I know the game is not ALL ABOUT THE GRAPHICS!!!
There is gameplay and then there is graphics.
So if you really are that turned off by NON-HD graphics then simply FUCK OFF.
