i actually wouldn't be surprised if the first one was at least some sort of a prototype. However, once that one has been made, it would be a breeze for people to use it as a template to make the barrage that we are now seeing.
However, at this point even if the first one was real, we'll never know because nintendo would never own up to it at this point, not with all this crap coming out.
