You will find that 3D stereoscopic technology could cost less than $100 on the market. Also consider that the Revolution would only need hardware similar to the GameCube, so the less expensive console hardware and the more expensive projection technology could even out.Falafelkidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17918781791399825395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13336739.post-1133870371662322412005-12-06T12:59:00.000+01:002005-12-06T12:59:00.000+01:00We have to think about price. With the Rev controller and the DS, Nitendo has taken existing techs and incorporated them into their videogame devices.

I don't see that 3d stuff in use anywhere.

I saw touchscreens before the DS. I've seen gryo-mice for the pc for years. I've seen dual screens. It's also got to cheap enough to fit into a $200 game machine.

Or my other guess would be it would have something to do with old games and new ways to play them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13336739.post-1133808252077346662005-12-05T19:44:00.000+01:002005-12-05T19:44:00.000+01:00I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss the rumors that...I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss the rumors that came out of Broken Saints way back when. Brooke Burgess was right about the controller being gyroscopic, and was one of the first to insist that there was another piece of the puzzle beyond beyond the controller, namely the display. Sure, the gyroscopic controller was somewhat of an easy pick, but as far as I can tell, the stereoscopic 3D rumor practically originated from Broken Saints.
